Morpheus 8 by Inmode

Morpheus8 is one of the most advanced skin tightening and toning microneedling methods we have seen up to date. This is a new treatment developed to be more effective than other types of microneedling treatments. It stimulates remodeling in the adipose tissue of the dermis.

This treatment combines radiofrequency with microneedling. On its own, microneedling triggers a healing response in which collagen boost increases. With this microneedling procedure, collagen increase is only one of the many benefits. By infusing radiofrequency energy into tissue approximately 4mm deep, this device prompts tissue remodeling that includes thickening and tightening of the skin.

Microneedling is an excellent solution for facial rejuvenation now that it can achieve various corrections together. Some of the matters we target with this radiofrequency technique are fat accumulation beneath the chin, mild softening of the jowl at the jawline, sun damage, acne scarring, stretch marks, skin texture, enlarged pores, deep lines and creases. This microneedling treatment is commonly done on the lower face and neck areas. However, Morpheus8 can enhance any area in which subdermal adipose remodeling is needed.

We conduct this microneedling with radiofrequency treatment using a local anesthetic to minimize the sensation of the microneedles and radiofrequency energy penetration. Once the topical numbing cream has numbed the skin, we start the treatment using a small handheld applicator. The tip of the applicator has several tiny needles that are powered with radiofrequency via the device platform. Our clinician places the applicator on the skin for a few seconds while energy is inserted through the needles. 

Microneedling with radiofrequency begins to stimulate change immediately after the first session. Depending on how much improvement a patient needs on their skin, it is recommended to do a series of 2 to 4 treatments. Microneedling with Morpheus8 goes above and beyond to affect deep adipose tissue. The skin may be sensitive for a couple of days. Generally, patients are encouraged to opt out of wearing makeup for 1 to 2 days. Patients can expect their skin to be red for a day or two after this microneedling treatment. These side effects are typically mild and they diminish quickly.
